Hello again! Today I am going to be sharing a little bit about one of my (Beth) favorite things about Autumn, seasonal desserts. When the cool weather rolls around, I enjoy nothing more than turning on the oven and filling my kitchen with the aroma of nutmeg, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon. Between working and attending classes I have not had much time to make too many fall desserts but I have had ample time to scour Pinterest and come up with some delicious ideas to try out!
The first dessert on my list that I am dying to try are these Peach + Candied Ginger Muffins from the team at A Beautiful Mess. These seem like the perfect item to bring to a Sunday brunch and then eat for breakfast the next few days.
The second dessert I am swooning over is this Caramel Apple Crumble by FakeGinger. This dessert is made in a crock pot so it is minimal effort but the results will blow you away. This dessert is perfect for a bust student or mom who is looking for a low key dish to bring to the next party.
The third items I am craving this fall may be considered healthy! Doesn’t fruit count at healthy? Maybe not… but we will pretend it does. This Caramel Apple Fruit Pizza from The Gunny Sack seems like the perfect way for moms to get their little ones to eat their fruits. Serve this dish up after dinner and it is sure to please.
How could I do a fall roundup without sharing a recipe from The Pioneer Woman!? Ree comes up with the best recipes and she did not disappoint with these No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars. Though you do not have to use your oven for this recipe the melted chocolate and peanut butter will still leave your kitchen with a wonderful aroma. Stack these high on a platter and they will disappear before you blink!
The last recipe on my list is tried an true by yours truly. I made this Three Ingredient S’mores Dip for the Georgia Southern Homecoming Game tailgate I went to and it was a hit! It was gone within thirty minutes and everyone loved it! If you are looking for a great game day recipe then don’t miss out on this one.
Now that you have read my top five fall desserts, share your favorites with me in the comments below!
